New Zealand musicians are everywhere in Australia.

I am most interested in musicians who (after some success) moved from New Zealand to Australia in the years 1959 – 1976. I have begun to write a book about this. It begins with Johnny Devlin who came in 1959 and runs through to 1976 after both Dragon and Split Enz had been here for a year and had got into the Australian music charts. The issue of longevity is important to me so it is those musicians who are still performing that I am focusing on.
