After what felt like six months but was only three due to their individual commitments, Lindsay Field (in the photo above), Sam See and Glyn Mason played at the Royal Oak in North Fitzroy again last Sunday.

The pub was packed. After just a few songs the dance floor that isn’t (it’s merely a patch of carpet in front of the band) filled with dancers. The space was so full in fact that a woman trying to video one song on her phone had to back into the doorway to the men’s loo to film the band.

Lindsay, Glyn and Sam were truly on song as they always are and the black humour flowed from Sam as it usually does. If you have never seen them but are in the vicinity of any of their gigs, go along. You will not be disappointed.
