It’s been 4 months since I last saw Double Shot in action. And that was at the Barrel House at the Idavue Winery too. But this was the first time I have the three of them so relaxed, having fun and enjoying themselves as much as the crowd were enjoying listening to them perform.

Double Shot deliver a distinct style & on Saturday gave us old favourites we have come to expect. Their version of Bad Boy For Love is always such a treat to hear. I wonder what Rose Tattoo would think of John’s traditional blues interpretation of it …

In a break John said that there is now just one track to complete for the new CD which should be out within the next three months & as a taster they played a song I hadn’t heard before: 1470 North Highway Boogie.

I’m really looking forward to having a copy of the new CD.
