On Sunday Dave was playing with the Heinous Hounds again. I do love it when I can hear his harmonica wailing away as a I get to the venue. That happened again on Sunday at the Cherry Bar. It was a cold, wet, uninviting day so to listen to some music was great. And what a gig it was: the 2nd this band had played in 48 hours. It was reminiscent of 2019. All the old gang (minus one notable absentee) were there.

Taking photos of the band wasn’t easy. Robbo on drums was in the darkest corner & Dave on the right was pretty much in darkness too. But the music was wonderful. Highlights for me were Dave leading them into a very Jerry Lee Lewis version of Elvis’ ‘Hound Dog’ & Jerome on bass leading the others into a very rocky ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll’.
