Sunday December 3rd: this show was a fundraiser for Myeloma research and this year featured Spectrum; Madder Lake; Normie Rowe. Madder Lake opened then called Mike Rudd on to the stage to play harmonica with them before Spectrum began. Madder Lake’s Brendan Mason joined the Spectrum line-up so he had a busy afternoon.

Mike Rudd was glorious; lively and mischievous. Spectrum delivered a strong performance before Madder Lake joined them on stage for more. Nine musicians over-filled the stage and the energy in the room (from both the bands and the appreciative audience) rose higher, higher and higher again. How could Normie top that!
Two signed guitars were auctioned next as were other items before Normie and the Playboys played their shortened set to allow for the 5.55pm cut-off for the ode to be read at 6pm (as is customary at RSLs across the country).
